Austin High drama students take state title
One-act play victory is the school's first since 1931.

Drama students from Austin High School took home the state championship trophy at the University Interscholastic League one-act play competition this month — the first time since 1931 that a group from Austin High has won the contest, which now involves 14,000 students from across the state.
Five members of the six-person cast also won individual awards for acting. The students performed "Over the River and Through the Woods," a one-act play by writer Joe DiPietro about grandparents who try to stop their grandson from moving away.
