For all of the grandiose debate resolutions we had during our AHS days that referred to the federal government, I am finding as a gainfully employed, always-sober (permanently-alcohol-free), dependably civil and law-abiding, single-by-choice, adult male longtime Austin resident that the debate resolution I can most ardently champion is very, very basic and very personal for myself:

"Be It Resolved that the City Government of Austin will file a successful lawsuit in a court of law and vigorously enforce existing anti-home-invasion laws as soon as possible in a manner that protects in full my own ability to get 8 or 7 consecutive and uninterrupted hours of fully revitalizing and fully healthful and un-molested as well as un-raped and un-injured sleep every night as I lie ALONE, unconscious and probably also snoring, ON MY OWN BED inside my bolt-locked rental apartment unit in Austin."

Do ANY other graduates of the noble Austin High debate squad program, or ANY former or current debate coaches at "Loyal Forever" Stephen F. Austin High, or ANY Austin High alumni who were not debaters, have any suggestions or ideas or insights or information to offer on how I could persuade "the judges" (who appear to be either the Austin City Council or the current City Manager, Elaine Hart, or the City Attorney, Anne Morgan, or the current Austin Police Department Police Chief, Brian Manley) here in Austin, Texas, to "vote" in favor of this particular "debate resolution" as soon as possible?

If so, I would appreciate hearing from any of you as soon as possible, either through a reply note at this website or through an e-mail note to me or phone call to me.
