Obituary taken from http://wcfish.tributes.com/obituary/show/Susan-Susie-L-Pentland-105970775.

Ms. Susan (Susie) L Pentland
January 26, 1972 - March 28, 2018

Susan 'Susie' Lynn Pentland of Austin, Texas unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday March 28th, 2018. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on January 26th, 1972. As a young child, Susie travelled the world. But in 1978 she arrived in Austin and instantly became a "Native Austinite". Susie was a creative, kind and loving soul who will be dearly missed by family, friends and neighbors.

Susie graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1989. She then developed her innate talents in the Arts as a Floral Designer. Her passion for Fine Arts, design, botanicals and nature came together; providing her the ability to share her eternal vision of beauty and peace through her beautiful floral works.

Susie was a woman of many interests, who especially enjoyed volunteering locally. She shared all that she had with others. A Daughter of the American Revolution, Susie supported her community through contributions to food pantries, thrift stores, shelters, and Veterans in honor of their service to our country.

Susie is survived by her parents Terri Lynn Buckholtz, Irwin Pentland Sr. & Ellen Pentland; her siblings Irwin Pentland Jr. & Mary Jane Monsivais (Arturo Monsivais Jr.); several nieces & nephews; and many loving aunts, uncles & cousins. Susie was preceded in death by her step-father Major David W. Buckholtz, retired; as well as her grandparents Edwin Pentland, Mildred Molinko & John Molinko, and Tony DeLost & Jean DeLost.

Viewing & visitation will be held at Weed-Corley-Fish, 3125 North Lamar Blvd., Austin TX 78705 on Monday, April 2nd, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Flower contributions may be delivered to Weed-Corley-Fish. Contributions to Salvation Army may be made online at www.salvationarmyusa.org.
